‘Unknown Anarchists’ group claims Kouvelis attack

A group calling itself the ?Unknown Anarchists? on Wednesday assumed responsibility for an attack on November 23 against PASOK deputy Spyros Kouvelis.

Its announcement, posted on a website affiliated with Greece?s anarchist movement, alleged that members of the group saw Kouvelis getting into his luxury car in central Athens when they decided to attack him and rob him of personal items such as his credit cards and his parliamentary identification card.

The group said that the attack was a ?reaction to the violence we are subjected to every day.?
