Match-fixing suspect detained

Police at Athens International Airport said on Tuesday they had detained a 27-year-old national of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) who is wanted for fixing soccer matches in Italy.

The suspect has a European arrest warrant for fraud pending against him.
