Ministry denies schools left without fuel funding
The Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that it provided municipalities with 100 million euros in funding last year to cover the cost of operational costs for primary and secondary schools.
The ministry said that despite claims from some schools they are unable to pay their fuel bills, the funding had included 20 million euros for heating oil.
