Post office workers grabbed in armed holdup
Two women were taken hostage during an armed holdup at a post office in Aghioi Theodoroi in Corinth on Thursday, but they were released shortly after without suffering any injuries.
The post office?s director and cleaning lady were grabbed by the four gunmen when police arrived on the scene in response to an emergency alarm.
The perpetrators made off in a car parked outside and dropped the women off at the side of a road shortly after.
Police found the vehicle torched a few kilometers away and were still looking for the suspects late on Thursday.
