ATM blast destroys bank facade in Thessaloniki
Unidentified arsonists caused caused significant damage to the premises of a bank branch in the Sindos industrial park on the outskirts of Thessaloniki after planting an explosive device on an ATM in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The bomb detonated, destroying the ATM and the facade of the bank, according to police who did not determine whether the would-be robbers managed to get away with the cash intact.
There were no injuries reported.
