Explosion hits government building
A government administrative building was gutted in an arson attack on Monday, according to reports. No one was injured in the attack.
The offices used by the government’s Ministry for Administrative Reform and e-Governance in the Neos Kosmos district of Athens were attacked early Monday. Police said small cooking gas canisters were used to make the device.
The explosion wrecked the ground-floor offices. Three cars parked in front of the building were also destroyed.
There was no warning or immediate claim of responsibility, police said.
