Vana Barba to run with LAOS party

Greek actress Vanna Barba, 52, announced on Monday she will run with right-wing LAOS party in the coming parliamentary election.

Barba, who started her career as a beauty queen in the early 1980s, will be a candidate in Athens’s second constituency.

Barba will be responsible for issues related to culture and the arts.

Elections are widely expected to take place on May 6.
