Three Georgians arrested following Voula home robbery
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of stealing 1 million euros in cash as well as jewelry worth more than 200,000 euros from a house in Voula, southern Athens.
The suspects, all Georgians, included a 33-year-old woman who had worked at the house as a maid.
She is alleged to have helped the other two, a 47-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, steal the money and valuables on May 2.
Police found 37,400 at the maid?s home in Kolonos, central Athens, and another 539,100 at the parking garage where the 47-year-old worked.
