Leftist favoring ‘guerrilla war’ denies connection with SYRIZA

A leftist who advocated a ?guerrilla war? against the forces responsible for Greece EU-IMF bailout has denied having any connection with SYRIZA.

Speaking to Skai TV on Monday morning, Ifikratis Amyras, said that he was not a member of the leftist party but had put himself forward as a parliamentary candidate although his bid was rejected by SYRIZA.

Amyras?s role was questioned by New Democracy over the weekend after two videos emerged: one showing him interviewing SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras during the Indignant protests last summer and another showing Amyras on his own, calling on small groups of people to use ?Moltov cocktails, knives and clubs? against the ?forces of occupation?.

SYRIZA denied any connection to Amyras, who told Skai TV that he is not a member of any party although he did hold discussions with a number of people last summer.
