Officer saved by safety catch
A policewoman who was one of a group of officers who arrested three men in central Athens on Wednesday was threatened with her own service weapon after one of the suspects managed to swipe it off her.
The 43-year-old suspect was one of three men arrested on charges of producing forged travel and identification documents (photo).
He threatened the policewoman with the gun, but failed to shoot her as the safety catch was still on.
