Motorcyclist hurt in knifepoint mugging
Unidentified assailants attacked a motorcyclist who had been waiting at a traffic junction in Petralona, near central Athens, on Friday afternoon and used a knife to cut him in the arm and neck until he handed over what cash he had on him.
The victim, who was transfered to the nearest hospital, said that he was approached by the four assailants who were on two motorcycles and threatened at knifepoint.
Police were investigating the unusul mugging and seeking the assailants who remained at large.
It was unclear how badly hurt the motorcyclist was.
