Municipal workers in new walkout
Local authority employees in Athens are due to hold a four-hour work stoppage from 11 a.m. on Tuesday for those working morning shifts and from 3 p.m. for those on evening shifts.
The stoppage will be accompanied by a protest outside the Administrative Reform Ministry at 11.30 a.m. to protest government plans to removes some staff from their current positions.
Municipal staff in Thessaloniki are due to hold a stoppage from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
