Queues form at banks, post offices as road tax deadline nears
Queues formed at many banks in Athens on Thursday as vehicle owners tried to pay their road tax before the deadline, which is Monday, December 31.
Drivers have to print off their road tax slip online using the Taxisnet system and pay the amount at a bank, tax office, post office or via web banking.
Those without access to the Internet can conduct the whole process at a bank.
