Prosecutor recommends 8 suspected urban guerrillas be convicted
A public prosecutor on Friday recommended that seven of eight suspects charged with being members of Revolutionary Struggle, the urban guerrilla group that fired a grenade at the US Embassy in Athens in 2007, be convicted of being members of the organization.
The group’s alleged mastermind, Nikos Maziotis, is on the run with his girlfriend Pola Roupa after failing to abide by his bail terms.
