ADEDY calls rallies for Friday and Sunday to protest Greece’s multi-bill
The civil servants’ union ADEDY yesterday called on its members and supporters to join a rally on Friday outside the Finance Ministry to protest a multi-bill due to be voted on in Parliament by Sunday which paves the way for thousands of layoffs in the public sector along with other “prior actions” pledged by Greece to the troika.
The rally is to begin at noon outside the ministry while the union has called for another rally on Sunday at 6.30 p.m., when deputies will be preparing to vote on the multi-bill.
