Thrasyvoulos Stamatopoulos appointed to NATO position

Greece’s ambassador to Bulgaria, Thrasyvoulos Stamatopoulos, was appointed to the post of NATO assistant secretary general for political affairs and security policy on Friday.

Stamatopoulos was congratulated by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos.
