Greek PM’s trip to China from May 15 to 19 confirmed
Prime Minister Antonis Samaras’s official visit to China later this month was confirmed on Monday by his office.
As Kathimerini reported on April 26, Samaras will be in China from May 15 to 19 and will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
Kathimerini understands that a number of businessmen and representatives of Greece’s privatization agency, TAIPED, will accompany Samaras in the hope of laying the groundwork for future investments.
Representatives from some 50 major Greek firms will also be on the trip, which is expected to lead to deals in the tourism and agricultural sectors being concluded.
