Doctors stop administering drugs keeping 12-year-old stabbed on Crete in induced coma
Doctors at the Aglaia Kyriakou Hospital in Athens on Friday stopped administering the drugs that had kept a 12-year-old boy stabbed on Crete in an induced coma.
The boy, who was allegedly attacked by a 20-year-old Dutch children’s entertainer at the hotel where he was staying, remains connected to a life-support machine.
Doctors would not speculate about when the boy would be disconnected from the machine but they said he would likely undergo surgery next week to repair a damaged tendon in his left hand.
