Plan B party chief rules out cooperation with SYRIZA
Former SYRIZA leader Alekos Alavanos, who recently launched the pro-Drachma party “Plan B,” ruled out on Wednesday the possibility of cooperating with the leftist party.
“Based on the policy it follows, no,” Alavanos told Vima FM when questioned about Plan B and SYRIZA cooperating. “Changing currency is very important for us, although it is not everything,” he added.
“The crucial matter is that there should be an effective monetary policy, which means having our own currency at the moment.”
