A group of robbers managed to break through four doors of a retirement home in Hania, Crete, reaching the director’s office, stealing a 200-kilo metal safe and dragging it into the street and into their getaway vehicle early Monday morning, police reported.

The safe is said to have contained around 8,000 euros in cash belonging to the residents in the home, as well as the relics of a saint.
