Weapons cache discovered in stolen van found in Piraeus

Police in Attica on Tuesday were investigating the discovery of a cache of weapons including several assault rifles in a stolen van found parked in Piraeus on Monday.

The van, which was reported as stolen from Palaio Faliro on June 22, contained seven Kalashnikov rifles, a pistol, four hand grenades, a silencer and dozens of rounds of ammunition, according to police.
