Hospitals staff to walk off the job on Tuesday
Doctors, nurses and employees at public hospitals are expected to participate in the general strike called by GSEE and ADEDY on Tuesday, while also staging another 24-hour strike on July 24.
According to the Federation of Hospital Doctors in Greece (OENGE), public hospital doctors are participating in the strikes as a sign of solidarity to the 2,500 National Health System (ESY) employees who are being inducted in the government’s mobility scheme.
