Greece, Cyprus to intensify contacts ahead of new peace talks
Greece and Cyprus will intensify contacts ahead of a fresh round of talks on the island’s peace process expected to begin in October, Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos said in Athens on Monday following a meeting with his Cypriot counterpart Yiannis Kasoulides.
Reports said the two men also discussed the regional impact of the recent TAP gas pipeline deal and of closer cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Israel.
