Search launched on Samothrace after authorities informed tourist went missing on July 23
A search and rescue operation was launched on the northern Aegean island of Samothrace on Friday after it emerged that a 22-year-old tourist had gone missing.
Authorities said that the man has not been seen since July 23 but they were only notified of his absence on Thursday night, more than a week later.
They did not give any more details regarding the missing man.
