Former PASOK minister suffers heart attack

Former PASOK minister Alekos Papadopoulos suffered an acute heart attack on Friday.

According to reports, the 64-year-old veteran politician was taken to a private health facility in Athens for treatment.

Papadopoulos, who was born in Thesprotia, northwestern Greece, has served as finance, health and interior minister in several PASOK administrations.
