Landslide at PPC plant in Megalopoli monitored by scientists
A landslide at the Public Power Corporation’s lignite mine near the company’s power plant in Megalopolis, in the Peloponnese, was being monitored by scientists over the weekend.
According to reports the energy center’s lignite supplies were not expected to be affected by the natural phenomenon.
The landslide damaged some digging machinery but caused no injuries.
