Police investigating Omonia woman’s death
Police in Athens on Wednesday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 31-year-old woman who was found in her apartment near Omonia Square on Tuesday evening with chest wounds.
Police did not say how the woman’s wounds were caused.
A man who had been in the victim’s apartment on Chios Street when officers arrived was taken to hospital under police guard, according to sources who gave no details about his injuries or whether he has been charged in connection with the woman’s death.
