Police catch up with fugitive and serial robber
A 38-year-old fugitive from Trikala Prison in central Greece who is believed to have burgled 76 homes in the broader Thessaloniki area with the help of two accomplices has been arrested, police in the northern port said on Wednesday.
The man, who is from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, had been on the run since last December when he failed to return to jail after a furlough.
