PPC workers protest staff shortages at Greek power plant
Workers at one of Greece’s biggest Public Power Corporation plants, at Megalopoli in the central Peloponnese, on Monday held a symbolic occupation of the factory’s main building for two hours in the morning in protest at staff shortages.
A unionist representing the workers said that there are serious shortages in the maintenance, operations and chemical analysis departments, adding that if the demand for more staff is not heeded, workers will intensify their action.
