Third magistrate appointed to Golden Dawn probe
A third judge has been appointed to help the two investigating magistrates who are handling a criminal investigation into the neofascist Golden Dawn party, judicial sources said on Thursday.
Maria Vetoula-Simitzi is to support an ongoing probe by Ioanna Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou, who have already questioned dozens of party members and witnesses in connection with a range of criminal activities being attributed to Golden Dawn.
The two magistrates have summoned the head of GD’s Piraeus chapter to testify before them on November 25.
