Man found guilty of raping five boys, sentenced to 50 years
A Thessaloniki court on Thursday passed down a 50-year jail term to a 50-year-old man found guilty of raping five boys in nearby Edessa and fined him 400,000 euros.
The court heard that the 50-year-old gas station owner offered money and various gifts to his victims to stop them from talking about their ordeals.
Addressing the court before the verdict, the gas station owner admitted to the charges and claimed to be “sick.”
