Mild earthquake hits Argolic Gulf

A mild earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit the Argolic Gulf, near Porto Heli, in the Peloponnese, on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the National Geodynamic Institute, the quake’s epicenter was detected 26 kilometers southeast of Nafplio and 92 kilometers southwest of Athens, which also felt the tremor.
