Temperatures forecast to drop sharply in Greece from Tuesday
After a series of flash floods over the last two weeks, Greece’s weather service warned that conditions would deteriorate from Tuesday, with temperatures dropping substantially in most parts of the country.
The National Meteorological Service (EMY) said on Monday that snow is likely to fall in parts of Macedonia, Thessaly, eastern Greece, Evia and the Peloponnese.
It also predicted gale force winds in the Aegean Sea.
Temperatures are expected to drop between six and eight degrees Celsius around the country.
