Armed robbers make off with 8,000-10,000 euros from IKA branch
Two unidentified men armed with what witnesses described as “large weapons” made off with an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 euros after holding up a branch of the IKA Social Security Foundation in the Thessaloniki suburb of Neapoli on Monday morning.
Police were looking for the car in which the assailants – who had their faces covered – escaped after the heist in the hope that it would yield clues about their identities.
