Zakynthos municipality to cover residents’ unpaid electricity bills
The Mayor of Zakynthos, Stelios Bozikis, has asked the Greek Public Power Corporation (PPC) to inform the municipality of the number of households whose electriticy supply has been cut off on the Ionian island as a result of unpaid bills, AMNA reported on Wednesday.
According to reports, the municipality intends to cover the electricity bills until the end of the year in order for PPC to restore the supply to households in view of the upcoming holiday season.
