Car dealer escapes armed attackers in Alimos
Police were on Saturday investigating a drive-by shooting in Alimos, southwestern Athens.
Officers said two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on a 50-year-old car dealer outside his business on Posidonos Avenue at around 1 p.m on Saturday.
Reports said the businessman escaped unscathed after taking shelter behind a car. He reportedly fired a gun at the assailants and injured one of them. The attackers fled the scene on the motorcycle.
The 50-year-old is believed to be a legal gun permit holder.
