Probe ordered into reports that Xeros partied with Conspiracy of Cells of Fire members at Korydallos

A Piraeus prosecutor on Wednesday ordered a probe into reports that missing November 17 convict Christodoulos Xeros had allegedly partied with fellow inmates, jailed members of urban guerilla group Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, at Korydallos Prison recently.

The investigation was expected to determine whether staff members of the high security correctional facility should face charges over breach of duty.

The probe came following a request by top Ministry of Justice official, Marinos Skandamis

Skandamis also asked Korydallos Prison director Maria Stefi to check the prison wing’s CCTV camera records to determine whether prison employees had taken part in the alleged gathering.
