Certain Greek doctors to be exempt from prescriptions limit
Doctors who work at public hospitals, as well as those who work for retirement homes and nongovernmental organizations, are among those who will not have a financial limit on the prescriptions they issue.
Greece’s main healthcare provider, EOPYY, on Friday provided a list of the doctors who will not have to abide by its ceiling for spending on medicines, which has been introduced in an effort to cut costs and combat excessive prescription writing among some doctors.
