Four arrests in Athens after anti-terrorism squad seizes arms, explosives
Four people were arrested in Athens on Monday after officers from Greece’s anti-terrorist squad raided an apartment in the neighborhood of Kypseli.
The four suspects are believed to be Kurds with Turkish citizenship. According to reports, weapons and explosives were found at the apartment.
The arrests come after a 44-year-old woman, also thought to be a Kurd, was arrested in Iraklio, Crete. She is reportedly wanted in Turkey for terrorism offenses.
