To Potami delegates to go camping during congress

To Potami, the new centrist party that gained 6.6 percent in the European Parliament elections on Sunday, announced on Friday that it will hold its first party congress at a campsite in Thrace, northeastern Greece.

The party’s 6,800 members have been invited to book to attend the event, which will take place on the last weekend of June.

Those attending will stay in tents and at least 30 percent of delegates will have to be women, the party said.

To Potami, led by journalist Stavros Theodorakis, elected two MEPs.
