GD deputy granted deposition extension
Golden Dawn lawmaker Polyvios Zisimopoulos on Friday was granted an extension regarding his deposition in a probe into the alleged criminal activities of the ultra nationalist party.
Zisimopoulos, who is facing charges over belonging to and running a criminal organization, was ordered to appear before the two magistrates handling the case on June 27.
The decision was reached following a request for the dismissal of the magistrates filed by Golden Dawn leader, Nikos Michaloliakos, on Tuesday.
A decision regarding the request was expected to be reached by an Athens court within the next few days.
