Potami leader says party open to cooperation after next elections
Stavros Theodorakis, the leader of centrist To Potami, said on Friday that his party is prepared to work with whoever wins the next general elections.
“We are open to having discussions, when the time is right, with whoever the Greek people decide should govern the country,” said Theodorakis during a visit to the Thessaloniki International Fair.
The journalist-turned-politician said that the two criteria on which his party would base decisions regarding who to cooperate with are the personalities involved and their morals.
Theodorakis was critical of the way New Democracy, PASOK and SYRIZA are approaching the upcoming presidential election, accusing them of not showing respect for the position.
