Greek police officer to stand trial on extortion charges
A 34-year-old policeman is to stand trial for extortion, it emerged on Friday.
He is alleged to have demanded 10,000 euros in protection money from a man who was due to open a massage parlor in southeastern Attica.
The officer allegedly accepted 1,000 euros in cash before his arrest.
