Man who killed three family members hangs himself in Thessaloniki jail
A 55-year-old man who was arrested two months ago for murdering his brother-in-law and the victim’s wife and child in Oriokastsro, near Thessaloniki.
The man, who has not been named, hung himself in his cell at Diavata Prison. A prosecutor has launched an investigation.
The 55-year-old stabbed all of his victims, aged 55, 42 and 12, to death. He attempted to kill himself afterwards but failed. He told authorities his actions were prompted by financial differences.
