Greek police arrest Conspiracy member’s brother
The brother of a convicted member of the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire urban guerrilla group was arrested on Friday in connection with the alleged plan to help the terrorists escape from Attica’s Korydallos Prison, where they were held until recently.
The 32-year-old is the brother of jailed Giorgos Polydoros.
He has been charged with being a member of a terrorist group.
His is the latest in a wave of arrests this week after police caught Angeliki Spyropoulou, the young woman alleged to have worked with November 17’s Christodoulos Xeros while he was on the run from authorities to draft a breakout plan.
