The trial of four men accused of torturing an Egyptian bakery worker on the island of Salamina in the summer of 2012 is to resume on April 30 after the victim, Walid Talb, and several witnesses gave their testimonies on Tuesday.

Talb was 29 years old when he was found by passers-by on Salamina, chained and beaten near the bakery where he worked.

The owner of the bakery, the latter’s son and another two men face a string of charges, including abduction and grievous bodily harm.
