GD trial to be moved to new venue, justice minister says
The trial of neofascist Golden Dawn, currently held at a special courtroom at Korydallos Prison, will be moved to a new venue at the Court of Appeals, Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos has said.
Speaking on Monday during a meeting with representatives of local authorities at Korydallos, who are against the trial being held at the jail because of security fears, Paraskevopoulos announced plans to set up a new courtroom at the appeals court. Paraskevopoulos said the new venue will be made available in early September.
