Army officer injured when service revolver went off dies
A 38-year-old junior army officer was pronounced dead on Wednesday after suffering an injury when his service revolver went off.
The General Chief of Staff issued a statement saying that the 38-year-old died at an Athens military hospital on Tuesday night after shooting himself in undetermined circumstances at his base on the island of Samos the previous day.
