Angry locals pelt Kammenos with eggs on Kos
Independent Greeks leader and Defense Minister Panos Kammenos was attacked by protesters as he visited the eastern Aegean island of Kos Friday, local media reported.
Video footage showed angry locals pelting Kammenos with eggs and hurling abuse at the politician as he was hurried into the town hall.
Demonstrators were reportedly protesting the coalition government's handling of record migrant and refugee arrivals on the island.
