A Thessaloniki jeweler who was shot by an armed robber was in critical condition on Tuesday, Skai reported.
The 27-year-old businessman was shot in the abdominal area during a holdup in his store in the Neapoli suburb of the northern port city.
According to reports, the robber fell of his motorcycle while he was trying to get away, suffering minor injuries. He was arrested on the spot and has been identified as a 38-year-old Georgian national. He has also been admitted to hospital, where he is under armed guard.
